Le Centre Ressource Montélimar envisage d’ouvrir prochainement un PPACT « aidants » exclusivement dédié aux proches (aidants et accompagnants) de personnes touchées par le cancer : « prendre soin de soi pour mieux soutenir l’autre ».
Sous la forme d’ateliers mensuels ou bi-mensuels, proposés à jour et heure fixes, le PPACT « aidants » permet, sur un cycle de 6 mois, d’aborder diverses thématiques en lien avec la difficulté d’accompagner une personne atteinte d’un cancer : gestion du stress, communication relationnelle, gestion émotionnelle, qualité de vie, etc…

Angoisse, culpabilité, impuissance, épuisement, sentiment d’isolement et d’abandon, colère, tristesse, sentiment d’étrangeté… Autant d’émotions souvent difficiles à gérer seul(e) et qui peuvent conduire à l’épuisement.
Le groupe des « aidants » permet à chacun d’exprimer son vécu, ses ressentis et questionnements dans un cadre bienveillant et confidentiel. Le soutien, l’écoute et le partage avec les autres participants, encadré par un professionnel thérapeute, permet d’alléger une partie du poids du quotidien, de découvrir ses ressources psychologiques et de retrouver un équilibre dans sa vie personnelle et familiale.
Ce programme est accessible à tous, sur entretien préalable avec un thérapeute.

Ces rencontres auront lieu au Centre Ressource Montélimar selon un calendrier et une programmation préalablement définis en respect avec les règles de confidentialité et de sécurité des données de santé.
Le PPACT « aidants » du Centre Ressource se fixe pour objectif de permettre à la personne aidante de :
- libérer la parole et d’encourager le « lâcher prise »
- réapprendre à se faire confiance, trouver sa place dans le lien à l’autre
- rompre le sentiment d’isolement et apprendre à déculpabiliser
- trouver soutien et réconfort en partageant son histoire et son expérience avec les autres membres du groupe
- favoriser le lien social et rester dans le « projet de vie » notamment affectif et socio professionnel
- renforcer le « droit » de prendre soin de soi et préserver sa santé

L’annonce du cancer est un cataclysme pour le patient tout autant que son entourage. C’est une expérience bouleversante qui fait basculer la personne malade ainsi que ses proches dans un monde inconnu, incertain, angoissant.
Pour faire face à tous ces changements, qu’ils soient d’ordre somatiques, émotionnels ou psychologiques, un soutien est nécessaire aussi bien pour le patient que son entourage qui a lui aussi besoin d’écoute, d’accompagnement et de réconfort.
Souvent au carrefour entre la personne malade et le monde médical, entre la vie à l’hôpital et la vie extérieure, entre les traitements et les temps de repos, les proches sont de véritables traits d’union permettant faire le lien entre les obligations médicales, familiales, professionnelles, etc …
Cette réorganisation de vie, souvent éprouvante tant physiquement que psychiquement, peut-être bouleversante pour le proche qui doit aussi faire face à ses propres angoisses et son désarroi. Dans ce contexte particulier, il est légitime de se sentir dépassé : pas question alors de laisser de côté ses ressentis !
Un soutien psycho-social, au sein d’un groupe, ne sera que bénéfique pour aider l’aidant à évacuer ses angoisses et tensions et à mieux mobiliser ses ressources pour faire face aux difficultés du quotidien.
